Basketball Recap: Paradise Honors Piles Up the Points Against Peoria

With a playoff win on the line, Paradise Honors rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past Peoria 57-24. Paradise Honors has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Morgan Van Dyke continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 steals. Van Dyke is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lizzy Guincho, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Paradise Honors smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They are 22-2 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Paradise Honors is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.7 points. Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Paradise Honors will square off against Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Paradise Honors' defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Eastmark's offense will have their work cut out for them. Peoria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
