Baseball Recap: Anacoco Comes Up Short

Anacoco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin Parish Patriots.

Anacoco's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Franklin Parish, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Anacoco wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-7 defeat against Grant on the 17th. As for Franklin Parish, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-1 win against Simsboro on the 15th.
