Volleyball Recap: Pierce County Takes a Loss

Pierce County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perry Panthers.

Pierce County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Perry, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Pierce County has already played their next contest (against Houston County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lowndes on the 9th.
