Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Warriors vs. Cambridge Bluejays
The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors were the 42-34 winner over the Cambridge Bluejays when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lakeside Lutheran received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 62-43 to Cambridge.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Stein, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. Kieghtan Rank was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Lakeside Lutheran struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Lakeside Lutheran has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Cambridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Lakeside Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Lodi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lodi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Lakeside Lutheran is ranked 101st). Cambridge will be home for the holidays to greet Wisconsin Dells at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
