Basketball Recap: Carver College and Career Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Middlesex

Carver College and Career Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Middlesex Chargers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Middlesex's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.

Carver College and Career Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Charles City on the 19th. As for Middlesex, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-37 win against King & Queen Central on the 19th.
