Asheville had already won 16 in a row and they went ahead and made it 17 on Tuesday. They came out on top against the A.C. Reynolds Rockets by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Rockets on their court since October 4, 2022.

Asheville walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 11-25, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Asheville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elyse Burchfield, who had 19 assists and four digs. Burchfield is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Poppy Jones, who had six digs and two aces.

Asheville's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for A.C. Reynolds, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.

As of now, neither Asheville nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
