Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Episcopal Titans vs. St. Anne's-Belfield Saints

For the second straight game, Trinity Episcopal will face off against St. Anne's-Belfield. The Titans will head out to take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Episcopal is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Tuesday, Trinity Episcopal was able to grind out a solid win over St. Anne's-Belfield, taking the game 4-1.

Trinity Episcopal's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Taegan Logan, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Logan a new career-high. Another was Cole Hartley, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Trinity Episcopal's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.
