Basketball Recap: Sherwood Comes Up Short

Sherwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Leeton Bulldogs. If the Marksmen were looking for revenge after losing 62-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sherwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Leeton, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Sherwood has already played their next matchup (against Versailles), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Leeton will welcome Montrose at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
