Baseball Recap: Kenowa Hills' Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kenowa Hills waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Greenville Yellow Jackets by a score of 5-1. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keegan Garvin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Zac McCarthy, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mason Peebles, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Kenowa Hills' victory bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.
