Lamar gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed by the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks to the tune of 98-21. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 62-9.

Midlands STEM Charter is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar and Darlington will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Midlands STEM Charter, they will face off against Riverwalk Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
