Softball Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Brush Beetdiggers        
        
		
             Valley hasn't had much luck against Brush recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Valley Vikings will be playing at home against the Brush Beetdiggers  at 4:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Valley is headed into Tuesday's   game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game  on Thursday. They took  a  13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weld Central. Even if the Vikings couldn't come away with the  win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
 Meanwhile, Brush was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  8-1 to Sterling.
 Brush saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jolie Tuck, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI. What's more,  Tuck also racked up two  hits, the mostshe's  had since back in September. Another player making a difference was  Sidney Miller, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Brush, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
 Valley might still be hurting after the  18-3 defeat they got from Brush  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023. Can Valley avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
