Rockingham County waltzed into their game on Friday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They never let the Atkins Camels get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kennidy Kirby was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lily Strittmatter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rockingham County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Rockingham County's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Atkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
