Recap: Brazosport Christian Eagles vs. Memorial Lutheran

The Brazosport Christian Eagles waltzed into their matchup Thursday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They blew past Memorial Lutheran 83-49 at home. Brazosport Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Brazosport Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elijah Burris out in front who scored 16 points. The contest was Burris' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Luke Coburn, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.

Brazosport Christian pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Memorial Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Brazosport Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bay Area Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. As for Memorial Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Living Stones Christian at 6:00 p.m.
