Baseball Recap: Big Walnut Takes a Loss

Big Walnut suffered their closest loss since April 18th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Olentangy Liberty Patriots by a score of 7-5. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Big Walnut's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Olentangy Liberty, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Coming up, Big Walnut will square off against Westland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Olentangy Liberty, they will take on Olentangy Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
