Basketball Recap: Berkley Beats Troy for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Berkley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 45-33 victory over the Troy Colts. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Berkley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleigh Tracey, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Madi Bonsall, who posted nine points.

Berkley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 48 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Berkley's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Berkley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-35 defeat against Royal Oak on the 7th. Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
