Basketball Recap: Navajo Pine Comes Up Short

Navajo Pine came up into this matchup off a tough 43-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Hozho Academy Wolves by a score of 49-46 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since February 24, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Navajo Pine lost, don't look at Chad Tsosie. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Tsosie a new career-high. Anthony Sandoval was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.
