Parchment proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Allegan Tigers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 back in April.

Parchment's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Allegan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Parchment wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Martin on the 17th. As for Allegan, they will challenge Comstock at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Colts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
