Softball Recap: Northeast Eagles vs. Clarksville Wildcats
Northeast extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-5 in the process. They lost 19-0 to the Clarksville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.
As for Clarksville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games.
