Jordan Simmons, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman from Crespi (Encino, Calif.), has made a commitment to the University of Southern California, according to the Los Angeles Times.

You win some and you lose some in the college football recruiting wars, according to CBS/MaxPreps analyst Tom Lemming.
"That's a big catch, because they have lost a couple of linemen (through decommitments)," Lemming said.
Lemming currently ranks Simmons No. 32 among the top 100 seniors in the nation.
"He's a versatile offensive lineman (tackle or guard). He's a great run blocker and athletic enough to be a dominant pass blocker. (Coach) Jon Mack says he might be one of the best offensive linemen he's ever coached."
