On Tuesday, Grayslake North got the win against Grant Community by a conclusive 4-1. Given Grayslake North's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Grant Community are ranked 333rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Richmond-Burton was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Grant Community finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.
