Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Chase Johnson stepped things up a notch to give Redwood the 'W'. Johnson scored three runs while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Johnson's strong effort led Redwood over Novato and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Redwood is 9-1 against Novato going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
