Beyer has gone 10-0 against Johansen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Beyer Patriots will head out to face off against the Johansen Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Beyer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Johansen likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Beyer got the win against Downey by a conclusive 61-40. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johansen). They took down Hilmar 77-62 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Johansen's win came from a few key players Beyer will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Wilbert Gaxiola, who posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivan Martinez, who had 15 points.

Beyer's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Johansen, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Beyer was able to grind out a solid victory over Johansen when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 68-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beyer since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
