McCollum had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Burbank Bulldogs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 96-81. The Cowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Burbank lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zara'Nique Nealy, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Her evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Nyila Botello was another key player, putting up 22 points.

McCollum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 25 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 32-3 record this season. As for Burbank, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-13.

Coming up, McCollum will head out on the road to take on Cedar Park at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Cedar Park: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while McCollum has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. Burbank does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
