Baseball Recap: Coral Gables Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gulliver Prep last Friday, Coral Gables came back down to earth. The Coral Gables Cavaliers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Brendan Sabres on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Sabres recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Coral Gables saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brian Santana, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Coral Gables' loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for St. Brendan, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coral Gables didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-6 defeat against South Dade on the 12th. As for St. Brendan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Schoolhouse Prep on the 12th.
