Football Recap: Prince RVT Comes Up Short

Prince RVT came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Platt RVT Panthers 42-6. The Falcons have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Platt RVT's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddux Vargas led the charge by rushing for 56 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 35 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Those 35 passing yards gave Vargas a new career-high. Platt RVT also got a significant boost from Caleb Brickhouse, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.

Prince RVT now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Platt RVT, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
