Baseball Game Preview: Analy Tigers vs. Montgomery Vikings

For the second straight game, Analy will face off against Montgomery. The Tigers will face off against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Analy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

Analy had taken Montgomery down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 7-6.

Analy got a good showing from Benji Parodi, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Hunter Thomas made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Analy is 11-1 when Thomas posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Striniste, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

The victory got Montgomery back to even at 8-8-1. As for Analy, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.
