Baseball Game Preview: Doyline Panthers vs. Lakeview Gators

For the second straight game, Doyline will face off against Lakeview. The Panthers will welcome the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Doyline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Doyline is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Lakeview on Monday. They fell just short of the Gators by a score of 2-1.

Doyline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Dodge, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Lakeview now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Doyline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
