Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johnsburg Skyhawks. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Skyhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Johnsburg, they pushed their record up to 19-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lutheran will welcome Rockford Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m.
