Volleyball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin-Simpson faced off against Macon County on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Franklin-Simpson sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 15-11.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Macon County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Franklin-Simpson and Macon County will both be playing Mount Juliet the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Golden Bears at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
