Football Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson County's offense. They fell 6-0 to the Natchez Bulldogs on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Jaheim Day threw for 74 yards on four of ten attempts. Vance Williams was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Gariyon Bailey rushed for 85 yards.

Jefferson County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Natchez, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Jefferson County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-12 loss against South Pike on the 26th. As for Natchez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-14 defeat against Ridgeland on the 26th.
