James Island came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 21 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Stratford Knights. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

James Island pushed their record up to 27-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Stratford, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5-2.
