Football Game Preview: East River Falcons vs. Boone Braves

The East River Falcons will take on the Boone Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (East River 8.5, Boone 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Boone will be up against a hot East River squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Falcons came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-2 W against Hagerty.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Boone's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oviedo on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Lions are ranked 44th).

This is the second loss in a row for Boone and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for East River, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

East River came up short against Boone in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 14-6. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
