Softball Recap: Valley Christian Warriors vs. Saint Francis Lancers

Valley Christian lost against Saint Francis last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Valley Christian Warriors lost 14-2 to the Saint Francis Lancers. Valley Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lana Escarcega, who went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

On Saint Francis' side, Kate Munnerlyn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
