Recap: Platte Canyon Huskies vs. Arrupe Jesuit Generals
The Platte Canyon Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 30-19 to Arrupe Jesuit. Platte Canyon has not had much luck with Arrupe Jesuit recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Platte Canyon had strong showings from Sydney Curtis, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Liza Lineberry, who scored seven points. Lineberry continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Caylie Lewis was another key contributor, scoring two points along with three steals.
Platte Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Platte Canyon will be playing at home against South Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they will head out on the road to take on Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
