Softball Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss

Smiths Station lost to Beauregard back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 12-3 to the Hornets. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Huckelba made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kayla Fuller, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Smiths Station's record is now 3-3. As for Beauregard, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Smiths Station will face off against Orange Beach at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Beauregard, they will square off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
