Baseball Recap: Boulder Find Success

Boulder saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Emmett Huskies by a score of 9-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Kai Paradise looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sam Skubic, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Rowan Westfall was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Boulder now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Emmett, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Boulder will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain Pointe at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Emmett, they will be playing at home against Fruita Monument at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
