Softball Recap: Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against the West Hall Spartans by a score of 14-10. This was payback for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, who suffered a 13-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cali Bernat was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two triples. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in runs (three). Olivia Jutras was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy has already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Union County on the 7th. West Hall has also already played their next match (against Forsyth Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
