Baseball Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-0 to the Wayne Pioneers.

South Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wayne, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, South Point will host Gallia Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Pointers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Wayne, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Fairland on the 3rd.
