Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Falls Despite Big Games from Paul Bishop and Ty'korian Campbell

Blue Ridge was the 66-58 winner over Berea when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers fell 71-59 to the Berea Bulldogs on Friday.

Ty'Korian Campbell and Paul Bishop certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Campbell went 5-for-9 en route to 10 points in addition to six boards and three blocks, while Bishop went 5-for-12 on his way to 18 points. Campbell has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Hoover, who posted eight points.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Berea, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Blue Ridge has already played their next contest, a 61-50 win against Daniel on the 11th. As for Berea, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-62 victory against Pickens on the 11th.
