Baseball Recap: New Holstein Comes Up Short

New Holstein was the 8-7 winner over Brillion when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.

New Holstein has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Brillion, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, New Holstein will venture away from home to take on Kohler at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Bombers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Brillion, they will square off against Manitowoc Lutheran at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
