Football Recap: Lake Mary Prep Comes Up Short

Lake Mary Prep managed to slip by Donahue Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Griffins were outmatched by the Shamrocks and fell 54-6. The Griffins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Shamrocks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lake Mary Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Donahue Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lake Mary Prep will look to defend their home field on Friday against First Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Griffins will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Donahue Catholic, they will venture away from home to square off against The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
