Bountiful is 8-2 against Roy since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The RedHawks will square off against the Royals at 3:30 p.m. Bountiful is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Bountiful barely beat Stansbury the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The RedHawks' pitcher stepped up to hand the Stallions a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the RedHawks.

Isabeau Hoff and Claire Yates did most of the damage at the plate: Hoff went 2-for-3 with one home run, while Yates went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Yates has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Duryea, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Bountiful lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to Bonneville.

Bountiful pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Roy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Everything went Bountiful's way against Roy when the teams last played back in March, as Bountiful made off with a 14-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the RedHawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
