Softball Recap: Abramson Comes Up Short

Abramson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the McDonogh 35 Roneagles. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Commodores couldn't push the score so high this time.

Abramson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McDonogh 35, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Looking ahead, Abramson is taking a road trip to square off against New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something the Commodores will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McDonogh 35, they will face off against East St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
