Brimfield had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Havana Ducks as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Evan Patterson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Kaeden Schatsiek was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Brimfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Havana only managed six hits.

Brimfield pushed their record up to 19-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Havana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Brimfield will challenge Knoxville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Havana, they will welcome Illini West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
