Basketball Recap: Chloe Lawliss' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Seton Catholic Central over Wells

Seton Catholic Central fought the good fight in their overtime match against Wells on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wells Wells CSD. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Lawliss, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Grace Trombley, who put up 11 points and six rebounds.

Seton Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Wells, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Seton Catholic Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-35 loss against Chazy on the 14th. Wells does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
