Basketball Game Preview: Myrtle Beach Seahawks vs. Carolina Forest Panthers

Last Tuesday, Myrtle Beach was able to grind out a solid win over Socastee, taking the game 58-50.

Matthew Campbell was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Myrtle Beach smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carolina Forest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 59-47 win over North Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.

Carolina Forest's win came from a few key players Myrtle Beach will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nick Zincone, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JJ Gray, who went 5 for 12 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

Myrtle Beach's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Carolina Forest, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
