After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Wendover, Kingman Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mohave Thunderbirds, sneaking past 5-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kingman Academy's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Pax McFadyen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Dustin Sealy also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Kingman Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Kingman Academy will face off against River Valley at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mohave, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cactus at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
