Soccer Game Preview: Jasper-Troupsburg vs. Andover

The Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats will head out to square off against the Andover Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jasper-Troupsburg's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Jasper-Troupsburg fell victim to Canisteo-Greenwood and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Jasper-Troupsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Canisteo-Greenwood are ranked 112th).

Meanwhile, Andover lost 5-2 to Fillmore on Thursday. Andover haven't had much luck with Fillmore recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
