 Port Washington is 2-8 against West Bend West since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Port Washington Pirates will look to defend their home field  against the West Bend West Spartans at 4:30  p.m. The pair are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
 Port Washington is headed into the  game fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They blew past Nicolet 22-4. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Port Washington with their most commanding win of the  season.

 Meanwhile, West Bend West stacked  a  ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hartford as West Bend West made off with  a  17-7 victory. Winning may never get old, but West Bend West sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Port Washington is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-8-1 record  this season. As for West Bend West, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-2.
