Basketball Recap: Keith Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Thunder Ridge over Madison

Thunder Ridge lost against Madison two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thunder Ridge Titans fell 65-57 to the Madison Bobcats. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Thunder Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keith Brown, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deegan Branson, who went 5 for 9 en route to 13 points.

Thunder Ridge now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Madison, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Thunder Ridge will host Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunder Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. As for Madison, they will take on Canyon Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 225 points over their last three matches.
